
Oh goodness you guys, our kitchen is done! (well, not actually, there are 2 major-ish things that need to still be done. See if you can spot them:) )
I have a lot to say about this renovation, and living through a complete gut of the heart of our home, but for today, I’m just going to leave you with all the pretty pictures and a few of the unbelievable “befores”!

These pictures from the listing just don’t do the outdated look justice. You don’t see the 55+ years of caked on grease, and musty old crumbling drawer liners, rubber baseboard, and an overhang bay window that was sinking. But that harvest gold oven was a treasure!







Next week, I’ll be back with the nitty gritty details of what we actually did to the space- it involved a giant beam being hoisted into our tiny attic space by 5 strong men- the timeline, materials, and my design process as well as a rough estimate of how much we spent!
