Oh goodness you guys, our kitchen is done! (well, not actually, there are 2 major-ish things that need to still be done. See if you can spot them:) )
I have a lot to say about this renovation, and living through a complete gut of the heart of our home, but for today, I’m just going to leave you with all the pretty pictures and a few of the unbelievable “befores”!
See that first picture? Here is the before from the same spot!
Can you even?? I’ll pause here while you go scroll back up to see the “after”.
These pictures from the listing just don’t do the outdated look justice. You don’t see the 55+ years of caked on grease, and musty old crumbling drawer liners, rubber baseboard, and an overhang bay window that was sinking. But that harvest gold oven was a treasure!
Next week, I’ll be back with the nitty gritty details of what we actually did to the space- it involved a giant beam being hoisted into our tiny attic space by 5 strong men- the timeline, materials, and my design process as well as a rough estimate of how much we spent!
I’ll leave you with the fun “before” and “current” of the space from similar angles
